The safety of your data is our highest priority, which is why we approach every aspect of data protection with DEDICATION and COMMITMENT.

As of May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), known as GDPR, came into effect. This means that any operator/entity processing personal data must comply with these new requirements and provide transparent information about how the data is processed.

WHY IS MY DATA BEING PROCESSED?

Given the need to comply with GDPR provisions and our commitment to safeguarding your personal data (which may include name, surname, email address, IP addresses, etc., depending on the processing purpose) stored in our database, we inform you that this data is used solely to successfully carry out processes related to our interaction with you (examples include but are not limited to: user communication, information delivery, subscriptions, statistical analysis, behavior control).

INFORMATION ON THE APPLICATION OF GDPR WITHIN THE ROMANIAN NATIONAL CYBER SECURITY DIRECTORATE (DNSC)

1. INTRODUCTION:

As of May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC, also known as GDPR, has been in force.

Please review the information in this document, which outlines the DNSC’s policy on processing personal data.

The DNSC processes personal data strictly in compliance with legal provisions regarding data protection.

Definitions:

  • Operator: The entity responsible for data processing under GDPR is the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate, headquartered at Strada Italiană No. 22, Sector 2, Postal Code 020976, Bucharest, hereafter referred to as the "Operator" or "DNSC."
  • DPO Contact Information: Requests regarding data processing can be sent to: Strada Italiană No. 22, Sector 2, Postal Code 020976, Bucharest, DNSC Headquarters - Attn: Data Protection Officer or by email: office[@]dnsc.ro.
  • Cookies: A "cookie" is a small file, typically made up of letters and numbers, downloaded to a device when the user accesses a particular website.
  • Data Subject: The individual identified or identifiable, directly or indirectly, through specific identifiers such as name, ID number, location data, or online identifiers.
  • Data Processing: Any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, structuring, storing, altering, retrieving, using, or erasing.

2. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA:

Under GDPR and related legislation, we process personal data solely for purposes related to the relationship between the DNSC and the data subject. Your information is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is used exclusively for the purposes for which it was collected.

Examples include:

  • Website access: Automatically collected access data (e.g., IP address, time of access) are used for statistical and analysis purposes.
  • User accounts: Data such as name, email, or social media profiles are collected when you register.

MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

RO-CCH is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, RO-CCH, available on Google Play.
