On March 19, 2025, the Romanian Cyber Care Health (RO-CCH) project team participated in the online event titled "Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Data Protection and Innovations for a Secure Future". The event was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science Specialization, within the North University Centre of Baia Mare, part of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
In an ever-changing digital landscape with increasingly complex cyber threats, the healthcare sector is in a constant battle to protect sensitive patient information and vital infrastructures. From hospitals and medical devices to safeguarding patient data, the risks of cyberattacks are becoming more frequent and sophisticated.
On February 20, 2025, the Romanian Cyber Care Health (RO-CCH) team organized an online webinar dedicated to healthcare professionals, titled ""Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Tools, People & Awareness."" The event was an integral part of the official calendar of RO-CCH project activities, implemented by the National Cybersecurity Directorate (DNSC) and funded through CNECT.H – Digital Society, Trust, and Cybersecurity, under the DIGITAL-2022-CYBER-02-SUPPORTHEALTH call.
On December 19, 2024, the Romanian Cyber Care Health (RO-CCH) team organized a webinar dedicated to healthcare professionals, with the main goal of presenting an essential document: ""Report on Current Vulnerabilities That May Affect IT&C Infrastructures in the Healthcare System."" This report addresses a highly important issue for the cybersecurity community, considering the direct impact on critical infrastructures in the healthcare sector, a field that is extremely sensitive and vital.
On the occasion of the European Cyber Security Month (ECSM 2024), the RO-CCH project team participated, between October 22 and 25, 2024, at the 7th edition of "BEHEALTH & DIGITAL – International Event in Healthcare", an event organized by ROHEALTH - The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster, Transilvania IT Cluster, Support Central Region Association, and Romanian Society of Medical Informatics, in collaboration with Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
The RO-CCH project implementation team organized, within the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference 2024, a roundtable discussion on the topic "Future of Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Threats and Vulnerabilities." The event was attended by experts and leaders from the public policy, public, private and academic sectors, emphasizing the importance of intersectoral collaboration.
On October 17, the RO-CCH project team participated in Timișoara at the event "THE FUTURE OF HEALTH, THE CONVERGENCE BETWEEN MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY" organized by AGENDA ROMÂNIA 4.0, a series of conferences on various topics that continues with a new edition dedicated to the future of health!
On October 3, 2024, the RO-CCH project implementation team within DNSC participated in the event “Alliance for Life Sciences: Closing Research and Innovation Divide in the European Union”, organized by Alliance4Life, an initiative of 12 leading institutions in the medical sciences from 11 EU countries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), which aims to reduce the divide in European healthcare research and innovation. The project “Alliance for Life Sciences: Closing Research and Innovation Divide in the European Union” is carried out with funding from the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
Between June 20-23, 2024, the Romanian Cyber Care Health – RO-CCH project team participated in the National Conference of Healthcare Personnel (13th edition), organized by the APSAP Training Center, in Poiana Brașov.
