Privacy Policy

What are cookies and how are they used?

To improve your online browsing experience, we use cookies that facilitate the use of the rocch.ro platform by visitors.

A cookie is a small file, usually made up of letters and numbers. It is downloaded to the memory of a computer or another device used for internet browsing (smartphone, tablet, etc.) when the user accesses a specific website.

Note: A cookie cannot access information from the user’s hard drive, does not contain software programs or viruses, and is completely “passive.”

When the user accesses a website via an internet browser, the website sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user reaccesses the respective website, the browser sends this file back to the website. Thus, the cookie notifies the website whenever the user returns.
In general, cookies ensure a quick and easy interaction between users and websites. Cookies are also used so that users can easily resume their activities on previously visited websites. Essentially, cookies tell the server which pages should be displayed to the user, without the user having to remember or navigate the entire site from the beginning.

Why do we use cookies?

  • To recognize new visitors to the rocch.ro websites and/or applications.
  • To recognize past visitors.
  • To save your password if you are registered on our platform.
  • To improve the rocch.ro platform.
  • To better understand the interests of our customers and website visitors.

Types of cookies used on the rocch.ro platform:

1. Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the functioning of the web platform and cannot be disabled in our systems. You can set your browser to block or warn you about these cookies, but in this case, certain parts of the site may not work.

2. Functional Cookies

These cookies allow us to analyze your behavior on the site and the choices you’ve made to provide personalized content according to your preferences. Additionally, the collected information helps us improve the site’s performance and functionality.

3. Measurement Cookies (Statistical)

These cookies are strictly used for statistical purposes and allow us to count users visiting the site or track how often specific elements of the page (e.g., buttons) are accessed. These cookies do not collect personal data.

Note: Our site may include cookies placed by third parties, which we do not control.

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect information on how visitors use our websites and web applications. Social Media Plugins:

Our website uses "plugins" from social media operators (e.g., facebook.com, youtube.com). All social media plugins on our site are clearly and distinctly marked.

When you access our web pages containing a social media plugin, your browser directly connects to the server of the social media operator. The plugin content is transmitted from the operator's server directly to your browser and integrated into the webpage. Through the integration of the plugin, the social media operator receives information that you accessed our page.

If during your visit to our site you are logged into a social media network, the visit may be attributed to the respective user account. If you interact with the plugin, that information is transmitted to the social media operator and saved there.

To prevent the social media operator from collecting your data via our website, you need to log out of the social media service before visiting our site.

You can also refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.
Information about data storage, processing, usage rights, and settings options can be found in the social media operator’s data protection policies, which are not related to this data protection statement.

How can I control cookies?

Internet browsers allow users to control/disable cookies. How you do this depends on the type of cookie.

To learn more about enabling/disabling or deleting cookies from your browser, visit: All About Cookies.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" feature, allowing users to avoid tracking while browsing. Blocking cookies or using "Do Not Track" may block certain functionalities of our sites.

How to uninstall/delete cookies:

Disabling cookies may make it difficult or even impractical to navigate certain websites. Additionally, you may lose the enhanced browsing experience and the benefits offered by the respective website.

Modern browsers allow users to change cookie settings. These are usually found under the "Help," "Options," or "Preferences" menus of browsers.
