ENISA has released the NIS360 2024 report, evaluating the cybersecurity maturity and vulnerabilities of the healthcare sector under the NIS2 Directive.

The healthcare sector, critical to the EU economy, faces major challenges, including uneven cybersecurity awareness, complex supply chains, and legacy IT systems. The European Commission has introduced an action plan to enhance cybersecurity in hospitals, and the report suggests measures like clarifying regulations, creating security guidelines, and conducting sector-specific exercises to strengthen cybersecurity resilience.
