On October 3, 2024, the RO-CCH project implementation team within DNSC participated in the event “Alliance for Life Sciences: Closing Research and Innovation Divide in the European Union”, organized by Alliance4Life, an initiative of 12 leading institutions in the medical sciences from 11 EU countries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), which aims to reduce the divide in European healthcare research and innovation. The project “Alliance for Life Sciences: Closing Research and Innovation Divide in the European Union” is carried out with funding from the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
The discussion points of the event were the measures regarding the research and innovation strategy at institutional and national levels that can reduce the gap in the Research & Innovation sector in Europe.
The RO-CCH team gave a presentation of the major objectives of the project, highlighting the most current cybersecurity challenges in the Romanian healthcare sector, as well as the ways in which they can be mitigated.
